Welcome to the new look Ward & Co newsletter; this new look magazine is designed to provide news and investment opportunities to the membership of Ward & Co along with the former members of Equity Property Portfolios and Smart Investor Services.

2009 proved to be an interesting year with the uncertainty of the economy and housing market foremost in most people’s thoughts at the beginning of the year and the recovery in the last quarter taking most people by surprise.

Without a doubt investors who added to their portfolios enjoyed a good year, the large discounts that were available quite freely this time last year are certainly not so abundant at the moment, whilst this means that the numbers of great investment opportunities may not be quite so available it certainly suggests that there is fundamentally a new confidence in the market and the stocks of unsold new build properties have reduced which will without doubt start to firm up the prices in the UK market.

As usual we at Ward & Co will be looking at all exciting investment opportunities, UK and internationally with the intention of bringing to bring at least one new opportunity to our membership each month, typically the properties we offer you will be key in hand investments and have pre approved mortgages and gifted deposits or developer discounts that allow the zero money in deals that have proven so popular historically.
